Our Technology

Our advanced technology allows us to plan and perform procedures with greater accuracy, safety, and comfort. Explore the tools that support our commitment to exceptional specialty care.

Many of the surgical treatments we provide are safer and more effective thanks to improved dental technology. From treatment planning to restoration design, new technology has enriched almost every aspect of modern oral surgery. New technology is constantly changing the way we treat, diagnose, and even prevent oral health problems.

At Precision Implant & Oral Surgery, we stay up-to-date on the latest technology for the benefit of our patients. We place your well-being above all else and spare no expense when it comes to your personalized care. If you are looking for a state-of-the-art oral surgery facility, you have come to the right place!

3D IMAGING

3D imaging gives a clearer, more accurate view than traditional 2D x-rays. It helps us safely plan around nerves, roots, sinuses, and hidden infections — details that 2D images often miss.

It’s especially important for dental implants. With 3D scans, we can see bone width, curves, and other variations that affect placement and long-term success. What looks simple on a 2D x-ray may actually be complex.

This technology also connects with digital tools that let us plan your procedure in advance and create custom guides for precise, safe treatment.

DIGITAL IMPRESSIONS

If your dentist recommends it, we’ll schedule a quick appointment to take a digital impression using our iTero scanner. This replaces the traditional “goopy” impression with a more comfortable, mess-free experience.

The scanner captures thousands of images to create a precise 3D model of your mouth. This helps your dentist and the dental lab achieve an even more accurate fit and bite alignment for your implant restoration.

DIGITAL X-RAYS

X-rays are a vital tool in oral surgery. While traditional x-rays required film and time-consuming development, our office uses digital x-rays for faster, safer, and more precise imaging.

Intraoral x-rays are the most common type. A small electronic sensor is placed in your mouth to capture detailed images of your teeth, roots, and jawbone — with up to 90% less radiation than film x-rays.

Digital images can be magnified and enhanced instantly, helping us see more and diagnose with greater accuracy. They’re also quick to retake, easy to share with your dentist, and environmentally friendly.
